Recognizing 34 Years of Commitment and Teamwork
After more than 34 years with 110 Metalworks, Paul Newton is retiring from his role as Final Inspection Team Lead in Quality Control.
Over three decades, Paul has seen a lot of change. Not just new ownership chapters or advances in measurement technology — but a true transformation in how we operate.
During the past 12 years in particular, 110 Metalworks embraced continual improvement practices that reshaped our company. From implementing Gemba practices, Six Sigma, and 5-Why problem solving, to achieving ISO 9001 and later AS9100 certification, we evolved from being known simply as a machine shop into a process-driven contract manufacturer and trusted supply chain partner supporting leading commercial and defense OEMs.
Paul was part of that journey.
As Final Inspection Team Lead, he played a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability our customers depend on. More importantly, Paul cared — about his work, about doing things the right way, and about the people around him.
That commitment to teamwork and shared responsibility is a big reason why so many of our teammates, like Paul, have built long careers here. It’s also a key reason our customers continue to trust us with their most demanding programs.
Paul, thank you for your dedication, professionalism, and 34 years of steady leadership. We wish you all the best in your retirement!
