Bill Tousant Joins the 110 Metalworks 30+ Club Adding to a Legacy of Excellence
How Our Veteran Team Members, with a Combined 268 Years of Expertise, Drive Innovation & Mentor Incoming Talent
110 Metalworks is proud to be more than just a workplace—we’re a community of skilled professionals who value growth, collaboration, and innovation. We are thrilled to celebrate a significant milestone this month as Bill Tousant joins our prestigious 30+ Club, marking 30 incredible years with the company.
Why 30 Years Matters
When an employee dedicates three decades to one company, it speaks volumes about the workplace culture and opportunities provided. Bill’s journey, like others in the 30+ Club, highlights why 110 Metalworks is a great place to work and grow.
Reflecting on his time here, Bill shared that one of the key reasons he’s stayed so long is the camaraderie he’s found among his colleagues. “I have worked side by side with these guys for years and enjoyed time with them in and out of work,” he said. The sense of friendship and support has made his years at 110 Metalworks not just a job but a meaningful part of his life.
Another factor has been the opportunities for growth and learning. “I’ve never been stuck doing one thing. I always wanted to learn more, and I was given the opportunities to do that,” Bill explained. This culture of continuous improvement has allowed him to expand his skills and take on new challenges over the years.
Bill also expressed his enjoyment of problem-solving, which is integral to our trade. “I enjoy finding better ways to do things. In this trade, you’re constantly innovating to save time or money. It’s a challenge I enjoy every day,” he said. This drive to improve processes and outcomes is a hallmark of Bill’s contributions to our company.
With extensive experience in CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and quality control measurement, Bill is one of our most versatile team members. His adaptability and drive for improvement embody the values that make 110 Metalworks an industry leader.
But Bill’s contributions extend beyond his personal achievements.
Like others in the 30+ Club, he plays a key role in training and mentoring the next generation of skilled tradespeople in our apprenticeship program. His knowledge, experience, and willingness to share have been instrumental in shaping our company’s future.
The 30+ Club: A Legacy of Excellence
Bill joins a distinguished group of teammates who have each dedicated over 30 years to 110 Metalworks including Mike Parsley, Michael Salbert, Jake Brown, Paul Newton, Mikey Tetrault, and Don Clark. And we’re looking forward to welcoming Shane Brown into the club this spring. Together, their combined years of service total an incredible 268 years of experience.
This remarkable accumulation of expertise is a cornerstone of what sets 110 Metalworks apart. The depth of knowledge within the 30+ Club represents decades of mastering techniques, refining processes, and overcoming industry challenges. It’s an invaluable resource that benefits both incoming apprentices and existing employees. By sharing their wisdom, these seasoned professionals ensure that the skills and standards that define our company are passed down, creating a legacy of excellence that continues to thrive.
The members of the 30+ Club are more than just seasoned professionals. Our leadership turns to them for input on improving processes and enhancing operations. They are also the backbone of our training programs, helping apprentices grow and succeed by sharing their expertise and guiding them along the way.
A Culture of Support and Growth
At 110 Metalworks, success is a shared journey. Our culture is built on helping each other grow, celebrating achievements, and encouraging innovation. We’ve said it before: It’s not about grading people’s papers; it’s about helping them get an A as they learn.
This approach fosters an environment where employees feel supported, valued, and motivated to contribute their best every day. It’s why our team members, like Bill, choose to stay and thrive here for decades.
As we celebrate Bill Tousant and the rest of the 30+ Club, we also look to the future with excitement and optimism. These dedicated team members are not just the heart of 110 Metalworks—they are the architects of our future. Their commitment to training and mentoring ensures that the next generation of skilled tradespeople will carry forward the values and excellence that define us, forging the path to continued success.
Thank you, Bill, and congratulations on this incredible milestone! Your journey, along with the rest of the 30+ Club, inspires us to aim higher, work smarter, and always support one another. We are grateful for your contributions to our company and look forward to many more years of your leadership and mentorship.
